Pianist Joyce Postmus

Joyce Postmus was born in 1969 in Veenendaal, the Netherlands and immigrated to Canada during the summer of 2000. She began taking piano lessons at age 13 and continued to study piano at the Stedelijk Conservatory in Arnhem, the Netherlands. It has been her privilege to accompany various choirs in the Netherlands, and also here in Canada she enjoys accompanying choirs, like the Hosanna Mixed Choir and the Mattaniah Male Choir under the direction of Herman den Hollander. Joyce has done several CD recordings with these choirs and also two piano and organ recordings with organist John Vanderlaan and a CD with Arie de Haan (tenor) and Karen Postmus (soprano). Joyce resides with her husband Stephan in St. George, Ontario where she also maintains a private teaching studio. Through her music she wishes to glorify God and her desire is that her listeners will be encouraged and be drawn closer to Him.
